Why Schooled in Tech?

When you get "schooled" in something, you're typically taught a lesson the hard way. Being "schooled" can also be a positive learning experienced.

Hi, I'm Dave Carty. I'm a K12 district technology administrator, Google domain admin, and Certified Google Trainer.

I created Schooled in Tech to share the technology lessons I've learned, often the hard way, in easy to understand posts. I hope you find them helpful with your troubleshooting and use of technology.

Shopping For A Chromebook?

Chromebook

Chromebooks are fast, reliable devices that are perfect for students and adults. However,  all Chromebooks are NOT the same. Make sure any Chromebook you purchase has at least 4GB of RAM. Personally, I recommend choosing a Chromebook with 8GB such as one of these Chromebooks on Amazon if you plan to run Android apps and multitask. These have great reviews. You won't be disappointed.
